Medical Assistant - Will Train as Ophthalmic TechEarn while you learn! Nationally recognized ophthalmology office seeks bright, enthusiastic person to learn diagnostic procedures and assist with patient care. The ideal candidate will have a four year college degree, preferably in health sciences, and a strong interest in a career in medicine, public health or other healthcare services.Our technicians receive both practical and theoretical training, including hands-on patient care. The teaching atmosphere and strong team spirit make this a great working and learning environment. Our office is located in Chevy Chase, Maryland, just one block from a Metro stop and only two blocks from Washington, D.C.We use the most advanced technology to provide sub-specialty care in glaucoma, retina, cornea and diseases of the external eye, laser vision correction (Lasik), cataract surgery, neuro-ophthalmology, and oculoplastic surgery. We offer excellent benefits, including health and dental insurance, flexible spending accounts, pension, 401k plan & more.Required: Four Year College Degree (please do not apply if you do not meet this requirement). Experience in a healthcare setting is helpful, but not required. Customer service experience is a plus.
