The Reading Eagle is looking for correspondents to report on local municipal or school board meetings and community events. Municipal meetings require several evenings a month with a news story written and filed the same day. This position requires listening, reporting and writing skills, an awareness of municipal procedures, and an ability to report the proceeding in a concise, informative manner. Punctuality, an appreciation for deadlines, reliable transportation and a computer with internet access are musts.
