Recruiter Flint School of Nursing (183535)School of Nursing at the University of Michigan - Flint seeks to recruit for a Recruiting Coordinator Unit. Responsibilities* Prepare short and long term recruitment strategies Create and execute marketing plans to increase the visibility of the SON Effectively communicate information about SON programs through marketing and recruitment efforts Counsel students and potential students on educational planning and career opportunities Build and strengthen relationships with community partners Facilitate information sessions and make presentations to increase the SON programs’ marketability Work with Graduate Programs to promote and market SON graduate programs and develop promotion materials to support this effort Work with University Communications to implement recruitment campaigns to market the SON programs. Evaluate the effectiveness of the recruitment campaigns Represent SON at graduate and undergraduate recruitment events, open houses, and career fairs, as well as national, state, and local conferences Facilitate SON program webinars as requested by Program Directors Work with the Office of Admissions and Graduate Admissions and other University departments, faculty and staff to obtain up-to-date accurate data for admission purposes Develop a communication plan for prospective students from inquiry to enrollment Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications* Bachelor’s Degree 1-2 years of administrative experience related to the duties described in the Responsibilities section of this posting Ability to interact with faculty, staff, and students (current and prospective) in a positive, respectful manner; be a team player Ability to exercise independent judgment and employ basic reasoning skills in responding to inquiries Possess strong oral and written communication skills Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality Experience with various software programs and the willingness to learn new programs as required Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms used in recruiting and marketing: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc. Availability for weekend and evening events Ability and willingness to travel UM-Flint is a non-discriminatory/Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
