CustodianEvening PositionFraser Valley Elementary Monday-Wednesday (set schedule) Thursday-Sunday flexible hours. Starting pay $14.25 to $15.55 Depending on education & experience.Benefits: 10 day paid vacation, Holiday pay, 10 sick days, Dental, Health, Life, Disability. Job Summary: Cleans assigned areas of the facility including classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas Trash removal, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitation duties performed regularly Assists with snow removal from walkways and areas not plowed, uses sand around walkways for safety Sets up for both internal and external groups using facilities Opens and closes building as necessary Performs general maintenance task related to the upkeep and operation of the facility When warranted, makes the recommendation to maintenance director for other maintenance issued outside of general knowledge Sees to general security of all building entrances and population inside Building checks in winter months outside of regular schedule Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma – GED equivalent Training Requirements: (licenses, programs or certificates)On-site training availableCPR-First Aid Knowledge Requirements: Cleaning chemicals knowledgeAbility to read blueprints, specifications, and equipment manualsSupervision and management skillsEffective written and oral English communication Experience: Less than one year job related experienceSome supervisory experience Physical Requirements: Visual and auditory acuityHand and finger dexterityRegular walking and standing on tile or cement floorsRegular bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, squatting, kneeling and stoopingAbility to climb, use ladders, and work overheadLifting and carrying of 5 – 50 lbs. frequentlyLifting and carrying of up to 50 lbs. for possibly 20 feet on occasionAbility to work under fluorescent lights Working Conditions: Working evening shift at Fraser Elementary School.
