Instructional Designer Bellingham Technical College, Bellingham Washington, is recruiting for a full-time professional position responsible for the development and implementation of a critical component of the Guided Pathways model: meta-majors. Meta-majors include common course cores among related programs and are designed to be accessible, engaging and equitable. The work of the Instructional Designer will accelerate student progression and enable students to explore a range of career options.Requires minimum of a Master's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or closely related field; Eight or more years recent and relevant higher education or related industry work experience which includes 3 or more years fulltime classroom teaching experience; Current expertise in the fields of curriculum design across all instructional modalities; Experience working with workforce education programs and faculty; Experience with course management software, both commercial and open source; Training or certification in accessibility and inclusive design.$73,954/year.
