Supervisor, Patient Accounts, Patient Fin Svcs, Port Angeles, 1.0 FTE, Day Shift JOB SUMMARY: Supervises the daily operations of the Patient Account Representatives who primarily bill for hospital services. The supervisor will assist in the development and implementation of Olympic Memorial Hospital’s billing policies and with new processes and procedures designed to improve billing services and the efficiency of operations. Promotes cooperation and teamwork within the department as well as ancillary departments. QUALIFICATIONS: Education Associate’s degree in Business Administration or a related field or five years equivalent associated work experience and training. Experience Minimum of three years experience in medical billing, collections or in related field. One year supervisory experience preferred. Licensure/Credentials None.
