Grandeur Management Inc. d/b/a Grandeur Hospitality seeks 90 Housekeepers, temporary, full-time, 4/1/20-1/15/20. Responsible for cleaning and maintaining all rooms, suites, and indoor common areas at work sites, including obtaining the list of vacant rooms which needs to be cleaned immediately and list of prospective check-outs or discharges, cleaning rooms, empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas. Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors, using brooms, mops, clean bathrooms & kitchen. Vacuuming and dusting, removing the old linens and taking them to laundry, providing new linen and towels for rooms. Advising manager, desk clerk or administrative personal of rooms ready for occupancy. Replenish supplies such as drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, and bathroom items. Clean windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary. Hang draperies, and dust window blinds. Investigating complaints regarding housekeeping service and equipment and taking corrective actions, examining room, halls and lobbies to determine need for repair and placement of furniture or equipment and making recommendations to management. Observe precautions required to protect hotel and guest property, and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors. 3 months experience at a hotel, resort, or private club required. Must pass pre-employment background check/reference check. Worksites in Horry Country. Workers assigned to 1 worksite. Daily transportation is not provided to and from worksite. On-the-job training not provided. $9.75/hour paid bi-weekly. Overtime available at $14.63/hour 35 hours/week. May work on any day of week. Hours from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm and may vary. Single workweek used to compute wages. Housing not offered. All deductions from paycheck required by law made. Reasonable transport & subsistence costs to place of employee. Provided if worker completes employment period. Reasonable return transport & subsistence costs provided if worker completes employment. Period or dismissed early. Amount of reimbursement equal to most economical common carriers. Daily subsistence provided at $12.46/day to a max. of $55/day. Guaranteed work hours for at least three fourths workdays in each 12-week period. All req. tools, supplies, & equipment provided at no charge.
