Software Developer: Work under the direction of application & project managers to help build the next generation of global financial data systems to support the clients front office, middle office processes and back office risk, finance, compliance reporting, regulatory reporting and capital markets and banking needs. Gathers information to assist with interpreting business requirements. Designs solutions based on the existing framework. Identify application and/or database problems and design solutions. Must have a Bachelor’s, or equivalent, in computer science, engineering or related field, and 2 yrs. professional experience. Senior Software Developer: Builds the next generation of global financial data systems to support our clients front office, middle office processes and back office risk, finance, compliance reporting, regulatory reporting and capital markets and banking needs. Identify the system requirements that exist in the current state business processes. Develop use case briefs, participate in use case input sessions, and develop prototypes and diagrams. Conduct application tuning, code restructuring to improve efficiency and reliability of programs. Ensure Ab Initio code base is appropriately engineered. Design, code, unit test and deploy Ab Initio modules. Must have a Bachelor’s, or equivalent, in computer science, engineering or related field, and 5 yrs. professional experience.Positions are in New York.
