Join a team recognized for leadership, innovation and diversityJoin a team recognized for leadership, innovation and diversity.Be part of a team that designs, develops, and executes tests and test solutions for all products falling under the Engines and Power Systems umbrella.As a Senior Engineering Technician, you will play a significant role among a group of engineers and technicians in the development and certification of the next generation of gas turbine engines. Our overarching mission is to ensure that our customers obtain the data they need the first time.We develop, own and maintain the facilities and test processes that enable the development, certification and long-term support of the entirety of the E&PS product families. Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status. Key Responsibilities Maintains and improves facilities in altitude/aero test cells in a way that ensures the cells are ready to execute tests for the current and future Honeywell product linesProvides constructive feedback on test plans and test approachesModels Safety, HOS, Behaviors and Continuous ImprovementApplies knowledge of complex mechanical products test methods to learn engine and facility systems and test equipmentSupports team in establishing solutions to meet requirements for innovative test solutions for new and existing products including Hydrogen burning applicationsYOU MUST HAVE: High School Diploma or GED2 years of directly related experience as a Turbine Engine or Combustion Rig Test Technician or 5 years of experience testing complex mechanical systems WE VALUE The ability to work in a lab environment, occasionally lifting (up to 35 lb.) and working with large mechanical test equipment and systems including powered industrial vehiclesThe ability to work off-shift occasionally (once sufficiently trained)The ability to work outdoorsThe ability to work occasional overtime (20% is not unusual)The ability to travel occasionally (
