Senior UX Designer - End-to-End, Enterprise Services About the Team The Walmart Design team creates experiences and designs the websites, tools, and mobile solutions for millions of customers and associates. As a part of the Product Design team that is at the forefront of retail, you will be responsible for building best-in-class experiences that drive continuous improvement and innovation on the world's largest company. The End-to-End (E2E) Enterprise Services design team is a small but mighty team of diverse thinkers and doers who elevate standards and consistency holistically across a range of products and all stages of the design process. They provide this service through definition and governance of user-centered design patterns and providing creative direction other design teams. They are also responsible for zero-to-one projects through vision-setting and execution on strategic design initiatives that align with the organization's objectives. Excellent communication, collaboration, and design craft are vital for the success of anyone joining this bar-raising team. As a Senior UX Designer, you'll set the vision for the best customer experience and create a space for cross-functional colleagues to collaborate. You will use your knowledge of the Design Thinking process to collaborate with partner teams, facilitate conversations, create concepts, run design sprints, and build rapid prototypes to leverage the collective creativity. You'll employ your great strengths in storytelling to present your vision and product design rationale in a compelling, convincing manner to cross-functional partners and the leadership team. While working with partners to determine a shared plan forward that balances business and technology considerations, you will create and champion an experience that is highly usable before delivering pixel-perfect designs. You'll make an impact by: Designing at the highest level of craft for a broad population of Walmart customers. Leading a program of work and collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional partners through delivery. Creating the experience strategy and setting the design direction for the program that delivers on the user needs and business goals. Actively soliciting feedback from peers and cross-functional stakeholders though the product design lifecycle. Engaging the design research team at the right points during the design process to ensure the right insights inform the work Rapid prototyping and experimenting in a fast-paced environment. Multitasking across different projects and adapting to changing priorities. Creating scalable experiences in partnership with our Design System team. Working with our Design System team to expand the component library. Championing the Design Thinking philosophy throughout the business. Communicating effectively with kindness and empathy. Collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional partners. Staying up to date with the latest trends, in and out of retail. Preferred qualifications: Degree in HCI, Information Architecture, Digital Design, or similar and at least 3-5 years of experience in product design. Have a fantastic portfolio of elegant design solutions. Excellent written and verbal communication. The annual salary range for this position is $117,000.00-$234,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.
