For more information, visit metalsa.comMetalsa's Mission: To move the world more efficiently while protecting the environment and ensuring long-term economic and social value generation for our stakeholders.Metalsa's Vision: To become a leading mobility manufacturer of chassis and electrified solutions for the automotive, trucking, and off-highway industries.What does a day-in-the-life look like?Coordinate all maintenance activities in the production areas.What does success look like? * Proactively work to improve equipment uptimes and efficiencies * Supervise and assist maintenance personnel* Responsible for maintenance personnel performance evaluations and interviews* Oversee the procurement of equipment, repair parts and supplies* Develop and conduct training activities* Coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance procedures* Process employees Kronos records for weekly payroll* Additional responsibilities as required - this position is subject to change as the needs of the department change* Work in a safe manner and encourage others to do so.* Report all unsafe acts and conditions immediately * Use our Innovation process and the team concept to improve safety in the plant* Be proactively involved with improving working conditions.* Offer ideas for improvement of all systems and help implement them* Lead area in achieving plant quality objectives/goals* 100% on-time delivery to customer* 0 PPM on parts* Understand customer needs and work towards meeting and exceeding them* Maintain the appearance of a World Class Facility* Actively support full implementation of the 5S's, using it to approach and keep all areas clean, neat and properly maintained.* Actively involved with the Metalsa Model practicesWhat you will bring: Experience * 2 years Supervisory experience * 2 - 5 years maintenance management experience, including supervisory & training Education * Associate Degree in related field, or combination of education and related experience Suggested Skills * Excellent communication, analytical, problem solving, planning, team orientation and presentation skills * Good organizational and time management skills * Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive attitude * Equipment maintenance: hydraulics, pneumatics, programmable controllers and motion control, machine shop * industrial safety * Prefer welding automation * Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point) * Safety and Quality oriented * Prompt and regular attendance * Ability to establish and reach work goals * Ability to travel, overnight for one or more weeks at a time * Able to work any shift with overtime, possibly on short notice
