Location: Bradenton, FL * This is not a remote position * As part of this role you will: Compiles, analyzes, and presents clinical data related to performance, compliant billing and documentation Collaborates with Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI), Coding, and Population Health teams to resolve ambiguous documentation and codes Audits medical records and abstracts data for reporting Uses data analysis to identify and develop provider education plans What you need to bring to this role: High School diploma or GED required Coding Certification from AAPC (or other accepted certifying board) required (cannot be apprentice level certification) 2+ years' experience in medical coding required (5+ preferred) Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite required Tech savviness and an organized mind-set Excellent listening and interpersonal skills Must be flexible, resourceful and able to troubleshoot Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and set priorities Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus **MCR Health is a drug free workplace.
