Hope For Youth's has openings for Full Time and Part-time Residential Counselors (direct care staff) in its residential services programs with locations in Suffolk County with various shifts. Help us build resiliency to the youth we serve on Long Island!Residential Counselors / Direct Care Staff will spend their time in this job: Supporting youth (including documentation, laundry (wash, fold and store), cleaning, transport to appointments, supervise recreational activities, etc.). Supervise and support residents using the Therapeutic Crisis Intervention model without the need for therapeutic holds Resolve resident issues and complaints Staff meetings/supervision/training.
