The Dürr Group operates in the market with five divisions: Paint and Final Assembly Systems: Paint shops and final assembly systems for the automotive industry Application Technology: Robot technology for the automated application of paint, sealants and adhesives Clean Technology Systems: Exhaust-air purification systems and energy efficiency technology Measuring and Process Systems: Balancing as well as assembly, testing and filling technology Woodworking Machinery and Systems: Machinery and equipment for the woodworking the industry Location: De Pere, WI Position Summary: The Process Engineer will have extensive interaction with our customer base, sales personnel, R&D, production engineers, manufacturing personnel and service technicians to provide technical solutions for our customers' energy storage needs. The process engineer will be primarily involved with mixing and coating process equipment for energy storage. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: The Process Engineer - Engineered Products will play an important role in supporting business growth for the advanced energy storage market. The Process Engineer will be expected to interact with our customer base and sales personnel under the direction of the Development Center Manager to provide technical support during coating trials of Dürr advanced energy storage systems. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Process Engineering support during customer coating trials on the Dürr Pilot Line. Provide on-site support for factory acceptance and site acceptance testing of Dürr's coating line equipment. Sizing, testing, and evaluating process equipment (e.g., mixing and coating equipment, pumps, tanks, heat exchangers, valves, etc.) for fitness of use in advanced energy storage systems. Assist in the development and testing of new coating technologies to expand Dürr's advanced energy storage systems portfolio. Attending relevant trade shows and customer visits to represent Dürr. Collection of field operating data and troubleshooting process issues. Provide technical service to customers relating to use, operation and basic maintenance of equipment. Assist with process evaluations and compliance testing at customer sites. Participate in product development and standardization activities. Estimating equipment sizing and costs. Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (Chemical Engineering preferred), or equivalent industry experience Three or more years of experience Microsoft Office and other software, Statistical analysis, Design and Analysis of Experiments, Minitab Roll-to-roll coating experience, preferably LiB Slot die coating Web handling, preferably metal foils Mixing experience Previous capital project startup and/or project management experience a plus Job Posted by ApplicantPro
