Enterprise Electronics Corporation is seeking an experienced MANUAL MACHINIST for its Enterprise, Alabama manufacturing facility. The Machinist will set up and perform a normal range of operations on conventional and special purpose machines, turning machines, and various types of machine tools to build or modify parts used in rotating assemblies. Duties: Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, or engineering information to determine methods or sequences of operations needed to fabricate products Set up, adjust, or operate basic or specialized machine tools, such as manual lathes, milling machines, or grinders, used to perform precision machining operations Measure, examine, or test completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments, such as micrometers Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalency 4 years of machining experience Skills & Abilities Operate manual horizontal lathe and vertical milling machine Read and interpret blueprints Work Schedule 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. Occasional overtime.
