ABOUT ACHIEVE CENTER PEDIATRIC THERAPY Founded in 2004 and born out of a desire to help children who face challenges in their development to progress and achieve their potential, we provide pediatric speech, physical, and occupational therapy. The "achieve" in our name comes from our belief that every child has within them the capacity to improve. Today, we serve children and their families in the Wenatchee, Moses Lake, Spokane, and Kennewick/Tri-Cities areas with a team of over 40 professional therapists and therapy assistants and staff. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PEDIATRIC SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST ASSISTANT (SLPA) Our therapy assistants enjoy a professional work environment where they have the opportunity to gain excellent clinical experience within a wide range of diversity in their caseload, and the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children . Our office provides a supportive and fun working environment with a priority for high-quality patient care. As a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) at the Achieve Center, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide direct patient therapy to address feeding, language, speech, autism, and other areas of developmental disabilities and delays. QUALIFICATIONS FOR OUR PEDIATRIC SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST ASSISTANTS (SLPA) WA SLPA certification or be working towards certification, having met all of the requirements for certification Understanding of child development and a passion for making a difference in the lives of children Public Health Emergency Mandate: The successful candidate will be required to show proof of vaccination against COVID-19 and will be required to meet future vaccination mandates as applicable, unless a medical or religious exemption applies. WORK SCHEDULE This full-time speech-language pathologist assistant position typically works 40 hours per week , with flexible work arrangements a possibility.
