A Day in the Life of a Senior Landscape Architect/Urban Designer- Market Lead You are at the forefront of leading market growth strategies and business development pursuits in your region. You'll help identify key pursuits, form client outreach strategies, and build relationships in Arkansas while being supported by our team throughout the Southern US. Your knowledge of Arkansas and surrounding areas, local government authorities, decision makers, advocates, and local standards and procedures will be key to your success. You will also have the opportunity to grow and manage an interdisciplinary team to deliver multimodal transportation infrastructure in a wide range of contexts from roadway reconstructions and streetscapes in highly urban settings to signature trail projects in suburban and rural areas that highlight and enhance the natural environment. Your experience delivering transportation design projects, feasibility studies, concept plans, and construction documents, will help to ensure that our projects are consistently of the highest quality. Qualifications of a Senior Landscape Architect/Urban Designer - Market Lead : Bachelor's or master's degree in landscape architecture, civil engineering, transportation engineering, or planning Professional engineering license, AICP, or PLA 10+ years of experience in capital improvements with a specialty in transportation planning + design 2+ years serving in a project and/or design management role 5+ years of experience with business development in Arkansas and or surrounding areas Proven ability to develop/maintain client relationships Experience developing construction documents and cost estimates, Local Programs and Design Manuals for ARDOT, preferred You'll be great here if: You are entrepreneurial and thrive on seeing your efforts result in tangible successes You have strong leadership skills and enjoy participating in multi-disciplinary teams You are passionate about sustainability and the opportunity to work on challenging multimodal projects that make communities more livable You enjoy producing high-quality work products and seeing your projects get built You have strong communication skills, whether written, verbal, or graphically You can build relationships, bring enthusiasm to exciting projects, and are detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills. Work Schedule for a Senior Landscape Architect/Urban Designer - Market Lead : This full-time position is currently fully remote, but requires a physical presence for client meetings and site visits in Northwest Arkansas and a willingness to travel throughout the state of Arkansas to develop and serve clients.
