This position is responsible for the setup and operation of a wide range of jobs assigned to Hydromat rotary transfer machines while following the documented procedures, including safety procedures. Will be responsible for the quality of parts produced. Diagnose, troubleshoot and make adjustments. Must have the fundamental tools to safely and effectively perform the job. Duties Applies statistical process control (SPC) methods for analyzing data to evaluate the current process and process changes. Ensures all purchased products or components meet required quality standards. Documents data obtained during all quality assurance activities, consistent with company policies and procedures. Communicates significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provides recommended process improvements to management. CMM utilization and program generation for part inspections, process validation, and calibration services. Maintains strong understanding of measurement and testing equipment: calipers, micrometers, pin-gages, digital indicators, microscopes and comparators. Requirements : High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Minimum of one year experience performing quality tasks in a manufacturing environment. Experience in the automotive industry; Preferred Customer quality assurance experience. Previous experience as Quality Technician, Inspector, or Quality Auditor in a manufacturing environment. PC experience as well as Microsoft Office. Familiarity with dimensional drawings. Work Environment: Will be exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, oils, and chemicals in a loud manufacturing environment Job Posted by ApplicantPro
