The Child Advocacy Center of Family & Children's Place is looking to hire a full-time therapist to provide clinical work involving child sexual abuse cases. This person provides interventions, coordination, collaboration and advocacy services on behalf of children and families. Are you looking for a job that provides meaningful work ? If this important work is of interest to you, please read on! This human services position earns competitive pay of $21.53 - $24.69 and a sign-on bonus of $5000 paid over the first 120 days . We also offer great benefits , including medical, dental, vision, a 403(b) plan, paid time off (PTO), vacation time, paid sick time, up to 10 paid holidays, short- and long-term disability, and life insurance. If you have a certification and want to work toward full licensure, the agency provides additional $200 per month to support your supervision while you work toward that goal. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A THERAPIST As a Therapist, you play a key role in providing clinical work, including interventions, coordination, collaboration, and advocacy services for children and families. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A THERAPIST Master's Degree in the field of mental health, education, human services, or criminal justice 2+ years of counseling or clinical experience License or certification to practice Ability to pass a background check as well as a child abuse and neglect check upon hire Willingness to take a drug test, TB screening, and fingerprint screening upon hire Current Covid-19 vaccination Do you have excellent verbal and written communication skills? Are you highly organized and attentive to detail? Can you effectively prioritize tasks while demonstrating good time management? Are you able to maintain a friendly and positive demeanor?
