The Opportunity Architectural Mailboxes is now hiring a Project Engineer to join our collaborative and successful team within the Gibraltar family of companies. The Project Engineer conceives and leads change in the product design and manufacturing environment resulting in current product and new product sales growth. As a key member of the Residential Mailbox Team working with Marketing, Sales, and Operations, the Project Engineer keeps the product line vitality high to support and maintain business levels through regular design enhancements. What you'll do Conceive of and lead change in the product design and manufacturing and production environment resulting in growth in new product sales through the regular introduction of new products. Provide the key interface between Marketing, Sales and Manufacturing Operations (both Supply Chain and Manufacturing) while performing in the Product Design, Development role. Design, development, release, and introduction of all product changes, whether new products or product enhancements. The scope of impact includes creating all Engineering design, Marketing, Sales support, and technical documentation required for product introduction and continuous production. Proven success in consumer product development where pro duct line vitality is managed to a market life cycle and schedule. Success with new production introduction and co-developing the product through the design and manufacturing process specification.
