ShelterCare of Eugene, OR is seeking to hire a full-time Program Manager -Permanent Supported Housing. The Program Manager of Permanent Supported Housing (PSH) is responsible for the staff and services provided through the 8 different Supported Housing Programs at ShelterCare. This position is part of the Management Team that works closely with the Senior Directors of Housing Services and Clinical Services to ensure that all subprograms, policies and procedures meet the mission, vision and values of the agency. The Program Manager earns a competitive wage of $24.51 /hr ( $50,980 a nnually ) . This is an ex empt, salaried position. Prorated for employees working less than 40 hours a week. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PROGRAM MANAGER With support from Senior Directors, create clearly defined goals and outcomes for Permanent Supported Housing (PSH) subprograms that meet grant/contract/license requirements and follow established processes for regular reporting both internally and externally. Manage and set expectations for the PSH Program team with regular communication and feedback. Provide direct supervision to assigned staff according to ShelterCare policy. Actively participate in agency Manager Level meeting, sharing best practices and identifying solutions to potential service problems. Ensure PSH Program has representation in internal committees and workgroups, regularly reporting updates on decisions. Accept complaints, grievances and address them following policy. As needed, provide direct support for a caseload of participants when staff is out for a period of time or until additional staff is hired. QUALIFICATIONS Required Required 3 years of experience working in the social services field with a progressive increase in responsibility. Effective communication Negotiation and collaboration Scheduling and time management Leadership Risk Management Critical thinking and problem-solving Use of technology for email, spreadsheets, documents, etc. Preferred Experience in working with people experiencing homelessness, behavioral health, and/or substance use diagnosis. Work involves sitting most of the work day greater than 50% of the time. Repetitive motion: Substantial repetitive movements of the wrists, hands and/or fingers (computer use.)
