The Program Support Specialist duties are to provide administrative and program support to specific identified programs and provide back up to other program support staff. The Program Support Specialist I is responsible for all support and clerical functions in coordination, with the Central Business Office Policies and procedures. To learn more about this position, please read the summarized list of duties below. Greet consumers and direct them to appropriate places. Provide accurate scheduling for all consumers. Ask for consumers payment when necessary and write receipt. Provide program support for all clerical functions including answering the telephone in a respectable and courteous manner. Work closely with PSS II or Program Support Supervisor to establish an efficient support system providing back up to other PSSI whenever necessary. Ensure all managed care/EAP cases are coordinated with the clinical staff and the respective company for successful billing. This includes current data entered with computer system and tracking system. Complete phone intakes/ICF: inform the consumer what is needed for the day of intake, and complete form in its entirety. Also complete private pay. TPL, ASR and make initial verification of 3rd party coverage with assistance from central business office manager on all new Bridgeway Consumers. Communicate with supervisors to help determine appropriate services for the consumer and assist with the scheduling of the appointment. Associate's degree or one year related experience (secretarial, business, medical) required. Experience in assisting consumers in a social service agency preferred. Must also have reliable transportation. Employment with Bridgeway is conditional upon completion of all background checks.
