General Description The Shipping/Fulfillment Lead reports to the Shipping Manager. This role receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within the company. The Shipping/Fulfillment Lead views customer orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Responsibilities Supervise warehouse workers to ensure orders are being pulled in a timely manner Distributes work to order pickers to ensure on-time shipping Fulfills picked orders in a timely and accurate manner Accurately checks in drivers ensuring correct orders are loaded Print and separate customer labels to ensure accuracy Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequence Marks materials with identifying information as needed Monitor workflow throughout warehouse Pulls inventory to distribute to other warehouses Inform management of product shortages Prepare parcels for mailing Keep warehouse clean and organized General upkeep and cleanliness of surrounding area Load and unload containers once forklift trained Learn to be proficient in all warehouse jobs/functions Qualifications General computer knowledge Knowledge of inventory control system Knowledge of cycle counts Forklift certified (or ability to be trained and certified) Great communication skills Team player Detail Oriented Regular and reliable attendance
