Nashua Center is rapidly expanding and is looking for HOME CAREGIVERS effective immediately! You will share your home with a person with disabilities. Your home must be accessible . HOME CARE CAREGIVER Duties and Responsibilities Nashua Center is looking for Adult Foster Care Providers who can be individuals, couples or families that wish to share their home with a person with disabilities. Providers, in exchange for opening your heart and home to a person with developmental disabilities and/or intellectual disabilities and allowing him/her to become part of your family, will receive a GENEROUS TAX-FREE stipend. We currently have several individuals just waiting to meet the person, couple or family who shares some of their interests. Most individuals attend the Day Services program, Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 3:00 pm and additional funds of $4,000 to $7,000 is provided for respite support. HOME CAREGIVER Qualifications Must live in Greater Nashua, NH location MUST HAVE: First Floor Bedroom and Bathroom Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required High School Diploma or GED required Some computer skills Must be able to communicate effectively to external and internal staff Reliable Transportation Valid Driver's License Satisfactory motor vehicle report Satisfactory criminal background check Auto Insurance Homeowners/ Renters insurance HOME CAREGIVER Benefits Receive a GENEROUS TAX-FREE stipend.
