We are seeking additional clinical staff to help support our growing team of physicians! Job Title: Patient Care Team Member (LPN, CMA, or CNA) License/Certification Required: Licensed Practical Nurse, Certified Medical Assistant, or Certified Nurse Aide (Virginia)Job Type: Full-time or Part-Time (multiple positions available) Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8:00AM-5:00PM Work Location: Winchester, VA Job responsibilities include: Interview patients Take vitals Remove & apply splints, casts, or other immobilizing devices Wound care/dressing changes; suture/staple removal Facilitate provider's orders for Physical Therapy, surgery, diagnostic testing and procedures Document all aspects of patient visit in electronic health record Research diagnosis and procedure codes according to provider's assessment and plan Skills and abilities: Attention to detail Able to learn and navigate electronic health records system (NextGen) Able to prioritize a busy workload while maintaining efficiency Experience in orthopaedic setting preferred, but not required Educational requirements: High School diploma or equivalent; successful completion of Medical Assistant/Nursing Assistant/LPN program and current certification/license.
