Salary: $20 - 27 per hour Duke City Pediatrics is looking to add an exceptional LPN/LVN to join our team! Overview/Job Purpose The Pediatric LPN/LVN is responsible for providing direct patient care and assisting the provider team in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The LPN/LVN's primary purpose is to provide professional nursing care for patients following established standards and practices. The LPN/LVN also aides providers and staff in coordinating patient care and functions as a primary liaison between patients, staff, and attending providers. Summary of Duties: As a Pediatric LPN/LVN at Duke City Primary Care, your day-to-day duties may include, but are not limited to, the various tasks below: Ensure appropriate management and observation of all patients in the clinic according to nursing and DCPC standards. Identify and assess patients presenting with clinical symptoms requiring additional intervention and promptly initiate appropriate treatment. Collaborate with attending providers to obtain and review outpatient labs and imaging results, ensuring that results are communicated to the patient or caregiver in a timely manner. Educate patient/family about diagnostic procedures, medications, nutritional maintenance of health and wellness. Act as a patient advocate and assist patient and family members in the plan of care. Other duties as assigned.
