Turf Hotels, Inc. is currently looking for a Food & Beverage Supervisor to join the team at our Hampton Inn Western Avenue. As Food & Beverage Supervisor, you'll be responsible for assisting in overseeing and directing the daily operation of the Food & Beverage operation and protection of the asset. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for the setup, service, maintenance and breakdown of the breakfast bar line; prepare specified food items at the breakfast bar, replenishing food and assist in serving food from the breakfast bar line to the guests, if needed. Responsible for the setup, service, maintenance and breakdown of the managers reception. Recruit, interview and train team members. Monitor and develop team member performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, conducting coach and counseling and performance evaluations. Review all Banquet Event Orders to ensure proper staffing levels for conferences and meetings. Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times. Respond to guest complaints in a timely manner. Monitor and assess product quality, service and guest satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly. Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards. Compliance of brand and quality assurance standards. Conduct food and beverage inventories monthly. Develop weekly staff work schedule, based on forecasted occupancy while monitoring labor costs in accordance with budget. Maintains high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include compliance with the dress code. Performs any other duties as requested by general manager. Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED certificate is required. At least two years of food and beverage experience Prior guest service experience in hospitality environment is preferred Ability to interpret and perform intermediate computer functions. Must be proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel.
