Job Title: Accounting Manager Primary Responsibility The Accounting Manager is responsible for producing financial statements and reports for the company executives and corporate parent. Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM ( EST ) in the Woburn Office Duties and Responsibilities General ledger maintenance Financial Statement preparation Account reconciliations Collaboration with Accounts Payable, Credit, HR and Executive departments Daily Banking and financing activities Monthly close with reporting to corporate parent Internal controls review Tax schedules assistance Compliance with local laws Skill and Qualifications Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Flexibility and multi-tasking, ability to undertake several tasks at once and manage them efficiently and accurately Ability to work through a problem and maintain focus with little or no supervision Positive team attitude and dedicated work ethic Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills 3-5 years prior accounting work experience CPA is preferred Physical Requirements Ability to lift, pull/push up to 10 lbs Must be able to commute to work each day Company Benefits Competitive pay with a quarterly profit bonus program Comprehensive medical, dental and vision plan Company sponsored life insurance, short term and long-term disability Retirement Savings Plan - 401K with competitive matching Annual merit/performance bonus About Admiral Metals Admiral Metals, an ISO 9001 Certified Company established in 1950, distributes a large variety of metals including Aluminum, Brass, Copper, Bronze, Steel and Stainless Steel.
