Description:

We are looking for a Clinical Research Pharmacist to join our dynamic and growing team. Responsibilities: Follow the Department of Pharmacy's standard operating procedures for the receipt, storage, preparation, dispensing, accountability, and destruction of the investigational product as determined by the research protocol. Participate in sponsor-led Site Initiation Visits. Prepare draft protocol-specific pharmacy documents for use during the study. Utilize the randomization scheme to assign research participants to a treatment. Conduct sterile compounding in compliance with protocol specifications and USP 797. Conduct nonsterile compounding in compliance with protocol specifications and USP 795. Provide quality checks as required per pharmacy department standards. Maintain 100 % accountability of all investigational products received. Assist with pharmacy visits by the sponsor for monitoring and study close-out. Collaborate with the destruction vendor to facilitate the investigational product destruction along with the receipt of supporting documentation. Review REES reports daily for the pharmacy investigational product storage areas. Comply with organizational and sponsor training requirements. Communicate with the Director of Pharmacy about operational and protocol matters. Maintain confidentiality of treatment assignments for blinded studies. Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) + minimum of five (5) years of pharmacy related experience, preferably in a hospital, infusion clinic, and/or clinical research environment
