Community Interface Services are seeking a reliable Resource Counselor to join our team in our Community Integration program. About Community Interface Services We are a local nonprofit that has been serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities since 1983. At the core of our services, we believe that people with intellectual/developmental disabilities are in the best position to determine how they want to live, and that they should be valued and included in society. Key Responsibilities As a Community Engagement Aide, you will be working with one individual who is interested in participating in their local community. As you work together with this person , you will : Support them in exploring volunteer opportunities and their local community Plan social and recreational activities to expand on their network Assist with mobility training to increase independence in accessing the community Develop and implement a plan of direct support for their personal goals Document progress, work with a larger team to analyze metrics and det ermine fu ture steps This full-time human services position works Monday-Friday from 9 AM-3 PM and earns a competitive starting wage of $1 8 .50 - $ 20 .50 per hour . Work locations include Sorrento Valley to Central San Diego.
