A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSISTANT MANAGER As an Assistant Manager, you assist the general manager in training, staffing, and developing the team to achieve personal and store sales goals. You help to go through applications and interview applicants. With close attention to detail, you manage paperwork and other administrative tasks. You also work alongside other team members, providing excellent customer service as you take orders, handle money, prepare ingredients, and bake our sweets. Additionally, you provide guidance to the team, assisting in training and giving advice. You take great satisfaction knowing that you help the store to succeed! QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ASSISTANT MANAGER 18+ years of age 1+ years of retail or food service experience 1+ years of customer service experience Experience in a leadership role or with cake decorating is preferred but not required. Are you a team player? Do you pay close attention to detail? Can you manage a variety of tasks without letting one fall behind? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment? Are you extremely organized? WORK SCHEDULE FOR AN ASSISTANT MANAGER This position is full-time and typically works 40 hours per week with a variety of opening, daytime, and closing shifts.
