Position: Payroll Coordinator Position type: Full Time Position location (School):First Philadelphia Charter School Department: Administrative Support Reports to: Chief Executive Officer Employment status: Exempt Employment duration: 12 months Position Summary: The school fiscal officer is responsible for supporting and maintaining the confidentiality of the CEO. The school fiscal officer is also responsible for ensuring personnel and school compliance, in addition to managing payroll. Major Responsibilities Provides CEO administrative support Responsible for processing payroll on biweekly basis Responsible for tracking staff attendance and managing employee PTO Maintain personnel file compliance and clearance compliance Conducts employment verification and other verifications as needed Processed benefit enrollment, change requests, and reimbursements Responsible for new hire onboarding Provides monthly HR board reporting Responsible for processing workers compensation claims Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Critical thinking English language Active listening Reading comprehension Customer and Personal Service Clerical Detail oriented Strong organizational skills Technology Skills Applicant Systems HRIS systems Google Education and certifications Some College Preferred Physical Requirements Sitting Walking Standing Talking Pushing Driving Lifting 20-25 lbs Moving up and down from a seated position Walking up and down steps American Paradigm Schools are Caring School Communities.
