We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Line Cook to join our Burial Beer Co. team at our Forestry Camp Taproom location. Ambition and self awareness are important to our team culture in the kitchen. Line Cooks prepare food using recipes and menu items created by the Executive Chef and help keep the kitchen running smoothly. To succeed in this role, you have some restaurant kitchen experience, you are able to work as part of a team with professionalism and respect, and you have some knowledge of food-handling guidelines. Line Cook Job Responsibilities: Prep food for dinner service Execute menu items Ensure that the kitchen, all food prep areas and all food storage areas meet restaurant cleaning standards Manage maintenance needs of kitchen equipment Receive and organize deliveries from vendors Daily trash and recycling removal to dumpsters Maintain a clean an organized workspace Work towards minimizing food and supplies waste Observe and follow directives for portion control and quality Maintain professional and productive relationship with all co-workers Line Cook Job Qualifications: 1+ years kitchen experience preferred Ability to work as part of a team Strong organization and active listening skills Ability to work on your feet for most of the day and lift 50 pounds at a time Exceptional time management skills Must be at least 21 years of age Willingness to work mornings, nights, and weekends Job Specifications: Full-Time Position Insurance Benefits Employer Paid Life Insurance PTO Paid Holidays 401k + company match Employee Assistance Program Bereavement Leave Parental Leave EMPLOYMENT INCLUSION POLICY :Burial is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions on the basis of merit.
