Donor Relations Coordinator Overview The Donor Relations Coordinator provides support to meet CFCR's annual fundraising goals. Reporting to the Director of Advancement, the Donor Relations Coordinator plays a critical role in fundraising efforts. The role will be involved in all aspects of fund development, with a focus on overseeing strong processes and systems for high quality operations. The ideal candidate exhibits CFCR's core values, has strong communication skills, and operates with a high level of attention to detail and organization skills. The Donor Relations Coordinator will be a reflective learner and will contribute positively to CFCR's team, maintaining a high bar of excellence. A position with CFCR provides opportunities for growth into new and increased responsibilities over time. Responsibilities: Administrative Support (50%) Manage CFCR's donor database (Raiser's Edge), ensuring accurate, complete donor data. Maintain the accuracy of donor records; ensure individual records are updated with contact preferences and new contact information; ensure staff outreach is logged in the database. Assist with research, prospecting, meeting preparation, documentation, reports, and analysis. Routinely enter gifts that come through direct mail, DAF, grants, online, and other giving portals. Reconcile revenue with finance team monthly. Execute the donation acknowledgements process. Support events, assuming major responsibility for event logistics and "day of" event management for Annual Luncheon with 300+ attendees. Leading up to the Annual Luncheon, the majority of time will be spent on the event. Utilize included Raiser's Edge training program to ensure database is fully utilized. Donor Relations / Annual Fund (50%) In partnership with the Director of Advancement, create, implement, and evaluate strategies that lead to sound donor prospecting, cultivation, segmenting, acknowledgement, recognition and stewardship. Responsible for all levels of direct mail & organizing complimentary digital communication campaigns. With guidance from Director of Advancement, manage and implement strategies for quarterly solicitation mailings. Support and/or manage aspects of additional development initiatives in line with capacity and need. Write inspiring monthly email newsletter - Mission Moments - conveying CFCR's work to our volunteers and donors. Other duties and responsibilities, as needed. Key Skills: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Suite, CRM, Canva, email and contact tools. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to develop and maintain strong and collaborative relationships. Self-starter, comfortable working both independently and with supervision. Excellent time management skills and willingness to ask for help prioritizing when needed. Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong understanding of communication/marketing principles. Demonstrated cultural competency and sensitivity. Key Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (preferred). Demonstrated strength in building and managing relationships. Record of excellent work: attention to detail, planning, and prioritization.
