Join the Eyas Landing team as we grow our Merlin Day Academy program ! Merlin Day Academy is Eyas Landing's newest innovative program designed to provide education and therapeutic intervention in a supportive environment. We are seeking a Occupational Therapist to join our team of top pediatric specialists for a full- time caseload . Ideal candidates should be interested in developing their clinical skills using evidence-based practice in a multi-disciplinary, collaborative setting through one-on-one and group sessions with children and adolescents, and providing family support through direct service. Responsibilities Maintains a caseload of therapy groups, individual therapy sessions and daily case management tasks. Completes daily treatment notes, daily data input and analysis, initial and annual evaluations, plan of care documents to update goals and other documentation as needed within required time frame . Implements Merlin Day Academy's curriculum and to theories of practice models supporting Merlin Day's therapeutic model. Participates in on-going collaboration with the client's team and family including weekly emails, phone calls and in person discussions. Establishes and maintains relationships with clients and families by providing parent education, home programs, and parent support as needed. Collaborates with scheduling team to manage caseload requirements. Creates visual schedules, social stories, and home programs to help support therapy goals. Participates in required supervision meetings for first six months of employment and as needed per discretion of supervisor. Participate in all required company orientation, professional development days and ongoing trainings as required . Actively participates in monthly staff meetings, department meetings and as needed team meetings. Follows all company policies and procedures. Requirements Licensed Occupational Therapist Masters degree required Experience working with children or clients with special needs preferred Birds of a feather...work together!
