Senior Program Manager

The Advanced Regenerative Manufacturing Institute (ARMI) is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager (Senior PM) to coordinate action on the strategic initiatives of the enterprise. The Senior PM will work closely with ARMI's leadership team members, and this is a hands-on role. The Senior PM will be responsible for managing collaborative action to achieve strategic objectives, including the execution of milestones for a wide range of interdependent projects that involve ARMI's Membership and external stakeholders. The position requires excellent responsiveness to the needs of the individuals and teams within ARMI and throughout its ecosystem. To be successful in this role, candidates need extensive program management experience and exceptional interpersonal skills. Responsibilities Leads the development of detailed program management plans for ARMI strategic initiatives, including establishing objectives, individual and team roles, milestones, timelines, deliverables, risk monitoring, mitigation, interdependencies, and change management plans. Integrates programmatic information and provides evidence-based management intelligence to inform strategy and resourcing. Ensures efficient and timely communication between teams and with senior leadership. Develops and aligns program processes and performance dashboards to facilitate the achievement of strategic objectives. Actively identifies and mitigates program risks and, in coordination with senior leadership, adjusts plans to meet business objectives. Manages program-relevant vendor and stakeholder partnerships. Organizes multi-faceted information and prepares presentations on program strategy and status for senior leadership and external stakeholders. Strengthens knowledge of program management best practices continually and applies knowledge to achieve project outcomes. Identifies new opportunities where program management can add value to strategic business planning. Requirements Minimum of 5 years experience managing complex, executive-level, multi-stakeholder initiatives, preferably in a biotechnology or related environment. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior leadership in a demanding environment. Hands-on experience managing cross-functional teams across the stages of program development. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and group facilitation skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively, as required, in a fast-paced, matrixed team environment consisting of internal and external partners. Strong proficiency in the practical use of required program management methods, tools, and business applications. Experience implementing enabling technology preferred. Track record of establishing and maintaining effective, long-term working relationships at all levels of an organization. Demonstrated experience in leading the design and execution of complex project plans, including managing multiple projects with interdependent scopes, schedules, and budgets. Experience with publicly-funded projects and federal reporting requirements preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to positively manage through change and adjust plans to achieve strategic objectives. Demonstrated experience building and mentoring a program management team for organizational growth.
