Location: Compton, CA Job Title: Customer Service and Administrative Representative Status: Full-Time Non-Exempt Rate: Hourly $18.00 Benefits: Voluntary Health, Dental, Vision, Short Term / Long-Term Disability, Life Job Description: We are a national Brokerage Company providing 3rd party logistics services. An integral part of our service offering is coordinating Contracted Carrier services for the home delivery of large appliances and electronics to consumer homes and businesses on behalf of large "big box" retailers. We are currently contracted in the Compton, CA market to provide top-tier experiences for one of the largest home delivery networks in the United States. We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to fill a full-time Customer Service and Administrative (CSR) position in our Compton, CA location. This position requires a valid driver's license and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen. Job Requirements: The CSR will be primarily responsible for interacting with customers and delivery teams throughout day to resolve issues and provide support and preparing management reports. Other duties will include, but are not limited to: Handle inbound calls from customers and delivery teams Interacting with the staff of the client in resolving customer issues Determine the response needed to effectively and appropriately deal with emergencies, accidents, breakdowns, and other reasons that may cause customer service issues Record and maintain files and records of customer requests, services performed, invoices, and expenses reports Interacting with delivery customers, delivery teams and the staff of the client in handling claims for damage Other duties as assigned Required Skills: The ideal candidate will possess the following knowledge and/or skills: Geographical area knowledge of Compton, CA, and surrounding areas Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Word and Excel Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing Problem solving with quick resolution to issues This position offers 40 hours per week and applicants must be flexible to work on weekends.
