We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant who will come alongside our team and contribute their knowledge and skills to the growth of our business. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in an accounting role. Job Responsibilities: Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts. Provide accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll services for the company. Prepares payments by accruing expenses; assigning account numbers; requesting disbursements; reconciling accounts. Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data. Working with spreadsheets to provide information to management. Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Requirements: The ideal candidate will have the following skills: 3-5 years of experience in an Accounting role. Bachelors' degree in Accounting is preferred. Previous experience with QuickBooks is preferred Strong attention to deal and time management skills Effective verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated capability in leadership, problem solving, interpersonal and analytical skills.
