Description:
Coordinates the day-to-day medical and dental business operations of the Sedalia clinic facility including patient registration, appointment scheduling, referrals, and medical records. This position is responsible for coordinating the utilization, development, procurement, implementation, training and follow up of Katy Trail Community Health's EHR systems. This includes but is not limited to training on Katy Trail Community Health's systems components, clinical forms, reports, image collation and interfaces; as well as insurance files, patient registration, appointments, and billing; and other applications training as necessitated through decisions of the Katy Trail Community Health Administration and EHR Team.Coordinates and communicates all project requirements and training to the clinics, staff, vendors, and others as necessary. The individual in this position will work cooperatively with providers, clinic site managers, and all staff members, supporting a team effort and promoting a positive management presence at all worksites.Ensure compliance with HIPAA standards and is designated as the Corporate HIPAA Compliance Officer. Identify problems and make recommendations for resolutions.** All Katy Trail Employees must be up-to-date on COVID 19 Vaccinations**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:• Baccalaureate degree preferably in business or related field or at least 10 years experience may be substituted for degree• Knowledge of third party and insurance procedures, regulations and billing requirements, and government reimbursement programs• Knowledge of medical terminology, coding and office procedures• Demonstrated well-developed written and oral communication skills• Demonstrated understanding of customer service principles• Knowledge of and ability to productively use PC based computer applications, including medical office systems, Microsoft office applications and communications software• Ability to exercise good judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions• Ability to use tact and sensitivity to timing in personal transactions• Adequate vision. Ability to reach, stoop, walk, and lift 25 pounds.
