Business Systems Director

Business Systems Director Essential Functions: Documents process workflows to identify gaps and weaknesses and recommends actionable solutions to address those and future needs Shapes the future state of enterprise-wide business systems and drives the successful implementation of those business systems Works collaboratively with internal teams including Finance, HR, BD/Growth, Marketing, Contracts, and Manufacturing/Product teams to gather requirements for improvement projects and then executes on those projects Team up with cross-functional stakeholders across the business to provide support and updates to systems and processes As the liaison between users of business systems and information systems technical staff: interpret needs into specifications for computer/system implementation, plan and coordinate processing schedules, develop and modify output reports, establish priorities for task completion, and define/modify/update interfaces between other internal and external computer systems Managing and evaluating new integrated applications and third-party suppliers for manufacturing and services-related business Monitor platforms and system performance including proactively identifying and improving system processes Generate and manage various management reports, status reports, and system assessment reports "Go to" for all SOPs for business systems; updates and maintains all necessary documentation Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications and Education: Bachelor's Degree, MBA a plus 10+ years prior "hands-on" experience delivering business systems solutions with a preference for experience in the DoD/Federal government contractor business or as a key member of a delivery team for third-party vendors such as Deltek, Unanet or JAMIS Excellent at learning, navigating, and managing different platforms that serve different aspects of the business Exceptional interpersonal skills; ability to mediate between different constituents to solve challenges Impeccable writing ability for writing and documenting SOPs Analytical and solution minded, and takes initiative without direction Critical thinking, problem-solving techniques, decision-making skills, and a proactive approach High energy and Positive Attitude Extremely organized and demonstrated the ability to work on several projects simultaneously Works well under pressure Patience Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret DoD clearance, U.S. Citizenship required AEVEX provides a full suite of comprehensive benefits, including a 401(k)-retirement plan, comprehensive Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability and Life insurance group coverage with a portion of the premiums paid by the company, professional development funds, and an Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) with counseling, legal help, child and elder care support, among other benefits.
