Our current opening is for a Class A CDL Truck Driver . What you'll do: Transport raw material metals to and from established customers locally - no over the road or long distance trucking, you'll be home each night What we offer: Hours are 6am to 2:30pm with overtime paid after 8 hours per day , Monday - Friday 100% company paid health insurance Paid time off 401(k) with company contribution Who we are looking for: 2 years CDL driving experience with valid Class A CDL license Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS) Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.) Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen Physical Demands: Walk/Move on flat surfaces, equipment and rugged outdoor terrain Stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl to tarp, chain or strap loads as needed Use fine motor grasping skills and hand-eye coordination to manipulate tools and may use repetitive motions of the fingers, hand and wrist in doing so Perform tasks that require both close vision and distance vision proficiency Work in outdoor weather conditions Wear Personal Protective Equipment required to perform the task in a safe and effective manner Our Mission & Vision We are recognized as an industry leader and are a highly regarded scrap metal recycling and management company by both our scrap suppliers and consumers.
