Marucci Sports currently has an opportunity available for a Retail Operations Merchandiser to work with our retail team to improve the consumer buying experience by implementing and providing support for merchandising plans. They will also offer customer service to our retail store owners by answering questions, tracking orders, getting franchisee(s) the products they need and resolving issues.Responsibilities:-Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance franchisee(s) expectations and company's objectives. Creating and reviewing monthly sales goals and GMs and setting sales goals.-Collaborate with franchisee(s) to create attractive sales floor displays and make sure product is prominently displayed. Maximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriately.-Produce layout plans for stores and maintain store shelves and inventory.-Act as a liaison between franchisee(s) and the company by addressing issues and solving problems. Maintain relationships by visiting with store managers, department managers, and employees.-Prioritize and expedite high demand and special orders.-Coordinate with planning team for merchandising assortments. -Create sales reports and provide analysis and recommendations to managers on sell through at all individual locations to ensure each location has the right products at all times.-Create weekly, monthly, and annual sales reports and set sale goals.-Update items and pricing in POS system.-Coordinate with Marketing for Clubhouse assets.-Tent sale coordination and execution.Required Skills:-Proven working experience in retail operations and merchandising-Proficient with Microsoft Office with demonstrated Excel skills-Experience with Planogram systems/software-Verbal and written communication-Interpersonal and customer service-Organization and attention to detail-Strong listening, presentation, and decision-making-Time management with a proven ability to meet deadlines-Strong analytical and problem-solving-Proficient with POS software, applications, and/or systemsEducation and Experience:-Bachelor's degree in business, Merchandising, Marketing, or related field is preferred.-Previous retail experience-2+ years of retail or merchandising experience at a store level-Demonstrated ability to maintain customer relationships or clients-Experience managing a staff of retail workers-Baseball/softball knowledge preferredPosition Type and Expected Hours of Work:-This job operates in a retail business environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.-This is a full-time position. Days and hours vary by schedule. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. -Occasional travel between stores is required, and some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected for this position.
