What We Are Seeking CORE: seeking an organized Line Cook to join our restaurant team based in NYC. Reporting to our Executive Chef. The line cook will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and plating all menu items in accordance with the precision and quality that meet our CORE: company standards. Primary Role & Responsibilities: Effectively and professionally run an assigned station during the service period; ensuring excellence in cooking, timing, plate assembly, and communication. Ensure station is prepped, seasoned, and stocked throughout service and overall station remains clean and organized. Accurately handling food items to minimize waste and maintain health code Actively participates in the positive relationship between FOH, Bar and BOH teams by maintaining steady stream of communication with entire team and staff. Take part in pre-service duties and applicable closing duties Demonstrate a passion for details and willingness to learn Uphold service preparation and culinary standards to ensure a memorable guest experience Maintain and uphold our company's vision and values Maintain and uphold the cleanliness of the kitchen in line with NYC DOH standards and CORE: standards Minimum Qualifications 2+ years of line cook experience High volume, fine-dining experience preferred Solid understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, consistency, production, sanitation, and presentation Highly motivated, focused, and passionate Exhibits professionalism and teamwork; great interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively and efficiently Ability to work well under pressure, be professional, efficient, detail-oriented, and courteous Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn and grow What We Champion At CORE: we curate a global community of unlike-minded individuals united by their courage to defy definitions.
