Our goal is to empower sustainable living and energy independence by developing the world's most plug & play renewable energy products for mobile living (off-grid), home energy storage and industry applications.Building on Renogy's 12 years of success leading the off-grid and mobile solar energy space, we launched a Residential Solar and Storage division that developed an all-in-one home energy system for grid-tied customers. The Renogy team operates as a start-up backed by the operations and resources of a large multinational company. Position Overview: We are currently seeking a proven and highly motivated individual to join Renogy as the User Experience Designer, HES Software . Employee will have the opportunity to shape an innovative and exciting new product offering in cleantech by establishing best-in-class design practices and user-centricity. This will be a key role during what promises to be an era of explosive growth at Renogy - one in which the company will expand into new markets and channels. Duties and Responsibilities: This position will be responsible for leading a variety of projects and day-to-day company operations including, but not limited to: Lead the definition of design work and deliver business outcomes across multiple products with minimal guidance and coaching. Partner with the product manager, subject matter experts and technical leads to help inform the product strategy. Design and validate a user experience for the HES digital products that goes beyond satisfying needs to delight users. Collaborate with UI designers to deliver high fidelity design according to product needs. Work across the organization to drive a consistent user-centric approach to design. Provide design and product thought leadership. Use product analytics tools to analyze, measure and troubleshoot several aspects of product health. Build and maintain processes and shared documentation. Periodically run design review sessions for internal stakeholders. Qualifications: 3-8 years of UX or related experience with a degree in a related field is preferred. Experience working in agile teams and on digital products. Demonstrated experience running user research and using research to support design decisions. Experience in B2C and mobile app design preferred A digital portfolio for us to review. Effective communication skills with both technical and business audiences. Experience using Figma, Pendo, or similar tools. A strong sense of curiosity to ask why. Excited about making an impact in cleantech. Working Conditions: Will sit, stand, or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift Will lift, push, or pull up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis Hours occasionally exceed 40 hours per week.
