Job Details: Position: Boiler Technician Type: Full time (40hours week) Location: 16111 Plummer St, North Hills, CA 91343, United States Job Summary: Sanford Federal, Inc. is looking to hire a boiler technician to maintain boiler operations at the Sepulveda VA Clinic. Qualifications: Must Possess a valid City of Los Angeles, Unlimited Steam Engineer license. Must be able to operate high-pressure steam boilers. Must be Experienced with all aspects of boiler plant operations. Must be able to run the equipment safely and effectively. Duties: Operate a high-pressure steam plant that serves a complex of buildings located in a campus style environment. Possess the skills and knowledge of all operational phases of utility plant operation. Operate multiple high-pressure steam boilers. Start and stop boilers along with associated auxiliary equipment. Continuously monitor boiler operations. Log hourly boiler readings. Test boiler safety devices. Operate emergency generators. Perform preventive maintenance and repair on boilers and associated boiler plant equipment. Why choose Sanford Federal?
