Our family owned metal manufacturing company in Northbrook, IL is currently seeking a CMM (coordinate measurement machine) programmer/ operator with strong inspection experience. This individual must have a strong foundation as a quality inspector that possess the ability to be a responsible and reliable team player. An individual that is motivated to accelerate their career within the manufacturing industry. Are you currently working with CMM machines, are you currently inspecting parts (such as first piece parts, audits, wip, final inspection), are you capable of using standard measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gages etc.), and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment? Then this is the job for you! CMM programmer/operator with inspection experience: • Perform part measurements using CMM and other measuring equipment (calipers, micrometer, height gages, etc.) • Perform scheduled/routine upkeep on lab & lab equipment • Analyze & communicate measurement results • Knowledge of GD&T • Knowledge of Coordinate measuring machines • Ability to read and interpret blueprints • Strong knowledge on how to use measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc. • Knowledge of ISO 9001 is a plus • Strong communication skills • Strong ability to problem solve If this describes you, please submit your resume for consideration of the open position.
