Summer Camp Language Arts Teacher Department: Summer Language Arts Program Job Status: Part-Time (Seasonal) Reports to: Summer Language Arts Program Director Position Date: June 20, 2023 - July 28, 2023 (6 weeks/7:30 a.m -1:30 p.m.) Job Description We are seeking a part-time summer language arts teacher with an ability to work with a small group of children on reading, writing, and executive function skills. The successful candidate will provide research-based instruction in all aspects of literacy. Responsibilities Teachers will plan and teach reading, writing, executive function skills, decoding and learning strategy lessons to two small groups of students: one session from 8:15 to 10 a.m. and one session from 10:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.. Teachers will meet weekly with a supervisor to discuss instruction and students. Teachers may meet weekly with the admissions team to discuss candidates.
