We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst, with a focus on Shop Floor Systems, to join our team! Tokai's IT Team provides exceptional support for employees in our corporate office and those working in our manufacturing facilities. We are very engaged in the daily activities, ongoing process improvements, and investment projects of our company and user community. We are engaging in a project to upgrade our manufacturing solutions (MOM, MES, CAM) to current, best-in-class solutions, to extend our capabilities, and further separate us in the industry. As the Shop Floor Systems Technical Business Analyst, you will be a key contributor on our project to deploy significantly improved shop floor systems. Going forward, you will be responsible for supporting the user community and driving ongoing application improvements. You will work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure the solutions effectively run the operations. There will be many opportunities to identify and contribute to projects that add value through automation, functionality, integration, and business intelligence. Your responsibilities may include the design, development, testing, deployment, and support for various projects. They will be responsible for leading and manage the daily activities and project deliverables of team resources to ensure the requirements of the business are met. This hands-on position will be accountable for the functional design and configuration, technical development and deployment, and ongoing support and maintenance of the digital solutions. They act as a liaison, facilitator, and advocate for the functional business areas and technical teams. The essential Technical Business Analyst candidate will be able to apply a strong combination of knowledge and experience, business analytics, and project management capabilities. They will also have the ambition and ability to assist in the technical development of manufacturing systems. They must foster strong relationships with all business partners and provide solid documentation and communication on the progress, opportunities, and results of this area to leadership. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Support existing manufacturing and shop floor solutions by engaging at all levels to identify and resolve issues and to document and create opportunities for continuous improvements Work as a liaison between the business user community and technical development teams in all phases of the development lifecycle Translate business requirements into system designs and detailed functional specifications Work with business leads and technical teams to define data and reporting requirements and to develop and deploy related dashboards and reporting solutions Work with the business leads and user community to drive ongoing data quality through proper maintenance of master data and timely and accurate processing of transactions Create project plans, track, and communicate project status, and escalate any key risks to business clients, technology management, and leadership Guide and assist business and technical resources in development and testing phases to ensure that user stories and test cases are accurate, quickly confirm the validity of solutions, and identify potential issues Train and support key business users and the end user community on the Operations, Quality, Plant Maintenance, Technical Services, and other teams. COMPETENCIES Hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and supporting digital solutions in manufacturing operations, shop floor execution, plant maintenance, and enterprise resource management systems. Hands-on knowledge and experience in ERP, MES, CMMS, and integrated business solutions. Hands-on experience in enterprise data solutions (Microsoft Azure and SQL) Hands-on experience with data analytics and data visualization tools ( PowerBI ) Working knowledge of programming and integration tools and methodologies (Data Factory, Python, etc.) Working knowledge of ETL and web-based integration services (APIs, IoT, data containers, etc.) Understanding of Industry 4.0 technologies (Industrial IoT, Digital Twins, Machine Learning, AI) EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE ​ ​ Required Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business or 3-5 years' experience working in technical teams, systems, and/or business analyst role. 3 years' experience in designing, deploying, and supporting digital solutions in manufacturing operations, shop floor execution, plant maintenance, and enterprise resource management systems. 2-3 years' experience in ERP, MES, CMMS, and integrated business solutions. 2-3 years' experience with data analytics and data visualization tools ( PowerBI ) ​ Preferred Hands-on experience in enterprise data solutions (Microsoft Azure and SQL) Working knowledge of programming and integration tools and methodologies (Data Factory, Python, etc.) Working knowledge of ETL and web-based integration services (APIs, IoT, data containers, etc.) Understanding of Industry 4.0 technologies (Industrial IoT, Digital Twins, Machine Learning, AI) COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Available on your first day: Full medical, vision, dental benefits, short-term disability, and long-term disability Paid time off Monthly wellness reimbursement Health Savings, Flexible Spending and Dependent Care accounts 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer Annual Bonus*
