CPC is seeking candidates for our Education Coordinator position. Benefits include... New hire incentive payment of one thousand five hundred dollars, paid in two installments. Eligibility for health, paid dental, and paid vision coverage. 401(k) plan, with 3% match. Paid time off, sick time, and vacation time. Ten company-paid holidays plus two floating holidays. Tuition Reimbursement. Summers off with benefit premiums paid. (Teacher roles only.) Ability to work from home five days per month (six months from start date - restrictions apply depending on the position) Pay differential for bilingual staff. Summary : Supports the education program of Early Head, Start/Head Start of York County by direct supervision and management of Early Head Start and Head Start classrooms and classroom staff. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Monitor assigned classroom staff based on their job performance requirements. Review assigned weekly, end-month, and as needed paperwork for completeness and accuracy. Assist in designing and implementing an annual training plan for education personnel that is integrated with all service areas. Coordinate and/or provide training and technical assistance to staff, parents, and volunteers as needed. Act as a field site supervisor for education staff pursuing educational advancement. Cross-train across other EHS/HS departments as necessary to support multiple processes within the program. Act as a liaison between assigned classroom staff, the Education Manager and other EHS and HS leadership, outside agency support staff, building facility staff at classroom sites, etc. Participate in staffing and/or interagency meetings as necessary as part of a comprehensive team to discuss and action plans for children. Directly supervise nine to twelve classroom education staff. EDUCATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, Human Services, or a related field. Three years related work experience. Previous supervisory experience required. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite in a Windows environment.
