As a Site Reliability Engineer at Revacomm, you will be responsible for a sustainable approach to reliability using SRE principles. You will partner with multiple support teams to provide guidance and drive adoption of key reliability engineering practices in support of large-scale and mission-critical services. If You Join Us, You Will: Use automation tools to monitor and observe software reliability in the production environment Provide real-time troubleshooting of critical application workflows and incorporating feedback to product development Find opportunities to build innovative tools and solve operations problems by building automation on critical applications Create an SRE process for the entire software team and be on hand to support escalation issues Document all software problems and respective solutions in a shared knowledge base. Collaborate with Engineering teams, Ops resources to provide technical expertise and support on key initiatives for system availability and reliability Our Ideal Candidates: Bring a passion to stay on top of tech trends, experiment with and learn new technologies Possess an extreme sense of ownership to resolve problems Are self-starters with the ability and confidence to independently resolve issues and bring results back to the team Basic Qualifications: At least two years of experience in cloud computing with a preference for Amazon AWS Familiar with various cloud monitoring tools, performance monitoring, and profiling tools Excellent programming, debugging, and optimization, and scripting language skills. Experience monitoring applications within SRE tools such as: Grafana, Loki, Prometheus Hands on experience with container orchestration tools such as K8s, Helm Charts, and Kustomize Experience using Linux Proficient with command-line shell automation Possess a strong knowledge of OS subsystems such as security, networking, access controls, process, and performance management Familiarity with IaC applications such as Terraform and infrastructure automation Experience developing applications and proficiency in working with various IDE and collaborative development environments such as github/gitlab Preferred Qualifications: 4+ years of prior experience within IT operational support 4+ years of experience with pipeline automation and GitLab Relocation Expenses Not Covered Seniority Level Mid Level Industry Computer Software, Information Technology and Services, FedGov Employment Type Full-time Job Functions Consulting, Information Technology, Engineering About us Headquartered in Honolulu, Hawaii with remote locations across the United States, RevaComm is a leader in Agile Software Development, User-Centered Design, and DevSecOps.
